At its annual user forum, the German Trade Mark and Patent Office skilfully shows how livestream and face-to-face events can be wonderfully combined. Some of the audience came directly to Munich to listen to the presentations on site, while other participants followed the livestream on their PCs. Fortunately, the Patent Office had opted for a hybrid event concept right from the start of the planning. One day before the event, a nationwide warning strike completely paralysed public transport. Some speakers were unable to arrive on time and had to be connected by our live control room.
