We will show you the best way to do this using the example of the Forum Handwerk Digital. With the help of our experienced livestream professionals from Stream1, they organised an online congress that was very well received by the participants.

The Forum Handwerk Digital had a big project in mind: 500 minutes of livestream with spectacular programme items such as the official presentation of the 5th digital award handwerk. In keeping with the theme “Let’s go Handwerk”, the congress livestream was intended to inspire the participants and motivate them for digital innovations. Speakers should speak from home or their office in a remote livestream to avoid unnecessary contact.
This requires an experienced livestream team, the right computer programme and well-trained speakers. No problem with us as your livestream partner!
Preparation: Together for success
The next step is to get serious. Now we start preparing your individual livestream. Whether belly bands, animations, graphics and special stingers – we design everything for you individually and thus help your livestream congress to achieve visual professionalism.
At the Forum Handwerk Digital congress, 30 different speakers were to have their say. We designed appealing belly bands so that the viewers could keep an overview. Animations and graphics were also a must. After all, it has to rain confetti at an awards ceremony. If not in real life, then at least digitally.

Every livestream has the potential to be a highlight for the audience. Here, the eye “eats” with you! In addition to appealing design elements, we can give your livestream that little bit extra with previously produced film sequences. Our employees have TV experience and produce image films on an assembly line. Ok, we haven’t won an Oscar yet – but we have numerous satisfied customers.
We advise you and play through the process
Good preparation pays off! Especially for a professional livestream transmission. Depending on the programme you are using, different questions may arise in a stream with feeds: How do I split my screen? What is the optimal sitting position? Does the microphone work?
To avoid complications during the congress livestream, we offer a technical test and a comprehensive briefing for all speakers in advance.
During the live stream of the Forum Handwerk Digital, 30 speakers were to talk about innovations in the skilled crafts sector. The connection was made remotely via Skype. The moderator was on site at our agency. 30 connections are a lot of potential for technical complications – but we took precautions! Before the actual congress livestream, we arranged an individual technical test with each speaker. Here, microphones, seating positions, lighting conditions and functions were perfected.
You are spoilt for choice: remote or hybrid event?
There are numerous spatial options for your congress broadcast. In addition to a transmission as a remote livestream, you can also choose a mixture of present and absent speakers – a so-called hybrid event. Alternatively, all speakers can be present and we broadcast the contributions only for the viewers. No matter what you choose: We will support you, be it through technical tests or the organisation of an optimal studio.
Now please be quiet: We are live!
And action! You can rely on our technical know-how during the congress livestream. During a remote stream, the greatest concentration is required from our technical team. We are responsible for ensuring that every speaker is in the right discussion group at the right time. Now everything has to be just right: Space, transitions and sound.
Forum Handwerk Digital’s request to us: During the programme items, there must be a maximum break of 30 seconds to 2 minutes. No problem at all for our technical professionals! We connected up to 8 people at the same time during the livestream – the breaks between the rounds were short and did not disturb the congress experience. We used Skype and NDI transmission for this.
Use the livestream also afterwards
Everything has an end, but you can also enjoy the congress livestream afterwards. We will record it locally in the highest quality and make it available to you.
