Providing important impetus to strengthen social cohesion: This is what the project funding programme of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) aims to do. At a festive digital launch event, the new federal programme ‘Gesellschaftlicher Zusammenhalt – Vor Ort. Networked. Connected.’ programme was presented along with a new website. Our Stream1 team accompanied the live broadcast of the event from Nuremberg with guests from politics, science and society as a livestream service provider.
What is the Federal Programme “Social Cohesion”? “
Teaching and respecting common rules and values is a crucial factor in the BAMF’s integration work. Through the new federal programme, we want to further consolidate and expand integration and participation through targeted projects directly on site,” explained BAMF Vice President Andrea Schumacher at the beginning of the event.
In addition to project funding, the main aspects of the federal programme are qualification, networking and evaluation. Sponsors and volunteers are to receive even more support through new offers. For example, the BAMF also offers a project workshop, in which sponsors are professionally accompanied from the idea for a project to the application.
The federal programme also wants to create new networking formats for providers and representatives of the municipalities. Furthermore, evaluations are to become standard. The aim is to examine what changes the funded projects achieve and how the federally funded project work has an impact on the ground.
PTZ cameras, LED spotlights and belly bands: Our technology in Nuremberg
For the live stream in Nuremberg, we chose three so-called PTZ cameras from our Mediapark. These guarantee high image quality, can also be rotated, zoomed and panned and are remote-controlled directly by our camera operator from the control desk. PTZ cameras are our first choice, especially for panel discussions with changing interlocutors, in order to always be able to choose the best perspective. For elegant transitions and a professional video image, our graphic designers created belly bands and graphic elements in advance. The speakers and guests of the panel discussion were wired with wireless headsets and several LED spotlights provided the feeling of a real TV production. We broadcast the event directly to Zoom via a web presenter.
Around 100 participants attended the digital launch event, including representatives of the Federal Ministry of the Interior and numerous project sponsors. Thank you for the positive feedback, smooth communication and great cooperation with the BAMF and Syspons.
