Even a bank with decades of tradition must constantly develop and adapt to new circumstances. And Rentenbank Frankfurt is aware of its responsibility. That is why an external consulting firm was commissioned to analyse the corporate culture.
Hybrid Livestream Frankfurt for open communication
Rentenbank Frankfurt communicated the results to its employees transparently and openly. How did it do that? With a hybrid livestream, of course. The presentation took place as a livestream so that the employees in the home office were also informed at the same time. The speakers were on site as well as connected from our home office via Microsoft Teams.
Hybrid is the trend in all areas. Whether it’s a town hall meeting or a presentation of the results of an analysis of corporate culture, not everyone can or likes to be there in person for the event. For example, during the livestream of Rentenbank from Frankfurt, around 150 employees were on site, while the other employees watched from their home offices.
Minimalist, clean landing page for bank livestream
That’s why we set up a landing page on behalf of the bank. The design was kept very clean and minimalistic. Besides the video player for the livestream with technical explanations, the landing page also featured the Rentenbank logo and a countdown.
Mobile livestream direction from the Rentenbank canteen
For the livestream from Frankfurt we set up our mobile livestream control room. It was to be streamed live from the staff canteen. This was a bit of a challenge for us, because we had to set up our control room within a short time window. Right on time for the lunch bell, the employees streamed into the canteen and of course they didn’t want to eat in the middle of cables, cameras and spotlights. Our mobile livestream control room in Frankfurt consisted of the following elements:
- 3x PTZ cameras
- Radio receivers from Sennheiser
- Light Panels and Astera spotlights
- vMix
- Bonding Encoder Q8 from Mine Media
- Bonding Router M4 from Mine Media
- 2x 50 inch LED monitors
- Beamer
- Large loudspeaker set for sound reinforcement of up to 300 guests
After the presentation of the results of the Culture Check, there is naturally a great need to talk. So that both the employees on site and those in the home office could ask their questions, there was a chat tool on the landing page. The questions landed directly with the moderator, who was able to ask the questions to the participants. For questions from the audience, we provided a microphone so that really everyone could hear the question.
