“A big step towards normality” is how participants describe the hybrid Munich WEG Forum. Because last year the format had to be held completely online, this year at least 60 spectators were able to come to the large hall of the Palace of Justice in Munich. The Munich Lawyers’ Association (Münchner Anwaltverein e.V.) organises the annual Munich WEG Forum in cooperation with the Munich I Regional Court. The association aims to represent the interests of Munich lawyers. To be more precise, it campaigns for practical laws, fights against the curtailment of lawyers’ and citizens’ rights and the erosion of the separation of powers.
Hybrid tenancy court day and conference on property companies
We at Stream1 had the pleasure of supporting the Munich Bar Association at two events: a conference on property companies and the legal framework, the Munich WEG Forum, and the Munich Tenancy Court Day. Top-class guests from the consulting practice, the administrator’s point of view, science and the judiciary gave lectures. They provided helpful insights into the problems arising in practice and gave answers to pressing questions.
Stream1’s mobile Livestream Studio at the Munich Palace of Justice
The set-up at both events in the Munich Palace of Justice was very similar. Since there were both spectators on site and participants in the livestream, the technology and the stream had to be adapted to hybrid conditions. The following Stream1 technology was used: 3x PTZ cameras, 1x vMix, 1x webpresenter, lighting, preview monitors and a bonding router from Mine Media. In addition, we also used the existing technology of the Palace of Justice. Presentations were played out with the beamer, and thanks to the in-house sound technology, we were able to provide the room with sound.
Reaching audiences with hybrid on site as well as in the livestream
The Munich Bar Association is very satisfied with the hybrid events. The audience was happy to be able to participate on site again after two years of online seminars.
