Rösler Oberflächentechnik is one of those companies we know as “hidden champions”. In other words, a company that is unknown to many, but acts as one of the market leaders in its industry. Because that is what this innovative company undoubtedly is. Rösler describes itself as the world’s only supplier of surface treatment that offers the two essential technologies of vibratory finishing and shot blasting in combination with industrial washing systems and also develops and produces all components itself.
Under the AM Solutions brand, the Rösler Group bundles all activities related to additive manufacturing. The product range includes systems, processes and process equipment for automated post-processing. AM Solutions also offers comprehensive services around 3D printing, be it construction, post-processing or surface finishing.
Inside AM – Live Show in Livestream
Inside AM is an innovative digital project in which leading industry experts from various fields give deep insights behind the scenes and report on their experiences, applications, visions and obstacles. All live and digitally streamed. In the current edition of this live event series, Andreas Knöchler of Oechsler AG was a guest. Among other things, he presented the extensive product portfolio of Oechsler AG.
The event, which was previously announced on the company website, industry portals and social media channels such as Linkedin, was aimed at customers and experts from the industry. We streamed directly from the Customer Experience Centre on the Rösler factory premises in Untermerzbach in Franconia near Bamberg.
Three PTZ cameras and close-ups for product details
For this livestream, in addition to the classic equipment, we took along special multi-coloured LED light columns to illuminate the stage with matching orange light. In addition, we relied on three PTZ cameras from Sony in order to have both the wide shot and the interviewees and products always in view. The high-resolution zoom function of the 4K cameras ensured detailed shots of the additively manufactured products such as motorbike seats, football helmets or sports shoes.
Interactive show with individual landing page
The livestream did not remain a one-way communication; instead, the programming of a chat tool by our IT department enabled direct communication with the viewers. The most interesting questions were shown to the presenter on a separate screen. The moderator could read them and have them answered directly by the experts. The result was a successful interactive live event in the highest image quality.
